Rose sat, in her fox form, on the top of the cliff surrounding the valley. The Ice Realm has a leader now. She thought. Nocturne and I had better be careful. So lets see... We have one new leader in the presence of the Ice Realm. His name is Eclipse. She used his animal name as she calculated the strength of the Realm and her Union.
"We don't have much time." She said to herself. "Streak!" She barked. "Show yourself." She always used the animal names for her people, because sometimes people had the same names, but their animals didn't. Streak was her best spy. She trusted her the most, almost like a Starboard Woman.

Streak ran up to her leader, "Hi, Blood Rose." She barked to the other fox. She scuffled her paws around in her dog form and smiled. She licked her shoulder as she looked towards the sky and then back to Blood Rose.

Blood Rose grinned at her spy. "Hello, Streak." She woofed. Then she got on a more serious face. "I'm worried about that Eclipse guy. He might try to attack us, and I want to be ready. Could you go under cover for me and spy? I just captured one of their snoops yesterday."
She rose a paw and licked it, wiping it on her beautiful fluffy tail. I've got to tend to the herbs tomorrow. They're getting ripe and juicy. She thought, completely off-topic to what was going on. But still, that Eclipse guy was kind of scaring her with his strength. She didn't know how strong he was, so that made it worse.

"I'll try...It's hard to spy when people like him come around." She thought about what she could do to spy on them, how to get accepted by their tribe. Her paws strayed as if they had a mind of their own. She asked her leader, "Do you have any snakeskin? I know that someone caught an adder yesterday." Her mind raced as she thought about what she would dress like. A little idea sparked inside of her as she looked at some plants.

Blood Rose grinned a foxy grin. "Yes." She woofed. "I'll get you some of that as soon as we return to camp." She looked up at the new moon. The Dunkler Kristall hasn't shown any signs of attacking yet, nor has the Heulen Der Wölfe. Maybe it's just my imagination, but I don't think they have a leader yet! That could be true.
Even so, she'd have to be on her toes at all times.

"Thank you," She ran and picked a small flower and pricked off the peatals one by one. She grouned them into a pulp with a rock and then put it on her teeth. She soon spit it out but her teeth were still dyed red from the peatal juice. She bared her teeth, "How does it look?" she asked. She spat to get the taste out of her mouth. She looked around for blue or purple plants.

Blood Rose regained her human form, her chocolate brown hair was first to come. Then her pendent got bigger. She wasn't wearing any clothes, because she didn't know how to transform while keeping her clothes on. So, she pulled her knees in and crossed her arms.
Then she laughed. "You look like you tore something apart!" She giggled.

"Good!" Streak said as she changed back, her parents had taught her how to change back with clothes on. She had a small tanktop on and a small miniskirt; her usual clothing. She found a bluebell plant and did the same, only this time, she put it in patterns across her face. She smiled and said, "I could use the snakeskin for a belt and maybie dye one of my tanktops blue."

Rose smiled. "That sounds very pretty, Midori." She said. "Rose! Rose!" A voice said. She turned around and saw a hawk, one of her messengers, coming to her. "The Ice Realm has a new leader and four new snoops!" He squawked. "They're getting stronger and stronger by the minute! And the worst part is... They're coming here!"
Rose nodded to the hawk. "Thank you." She whispered. Then she sighed. "I need a therapist..." She mumbled.

Midori chuckled and changed back quickly, "It's best if those snoops don't see me. I'm gonna get readied up and then I'll be on my way!" Streak changed back as she put the plant dyes on. She sniffed the air and thought about what she would need.Food, yes, food. What about a tent? Nah. Maybie some flint and tinder for fires? GEH! She rolled her eyes in thought, that was one of her quirks. She thought hard and said, "I'll be going under cover soon!"

Rose turned to her spy. "Now, Midori, what's you're name from here on out untill you come back?" She always did this to her spies, making sure they were ready for their journey. She also asked Midori other questions about her under-cover family, her under-cover dressing style, and her under cover hair length. What would it be like to be a spy? With danger lurking behind every corner?

"My name will be Kina...." She said as she grabbed some food and stuffed it into a bag, "My family is dead, I am the long-lost daughter of Storm, the last leader... I dress like I have been in the wilderness for long, animal skins. I have this same hair leagnth, I'll cut it after I get back." She rummaged through a small hole, she grabbed what was inside of it and shoved it into the makeshift bag.

"Good, good." Rose said. "Well, Kina, I wish you the best of luck on your journey." She turned into her red fox form and swished her tail in a dismissive way. "Thank you, Midori," She said as she bounded off through the valley. "You're dismissed." Well, as another chapter begins, I find that I'm still worried about the Ice Realm.
She didn't even notice that a pair of eyes had been watching her and Midori since the conversation had begun...
