Mau, in her cat form, lounged around on a branch, hanging one paw over the other side of the branch. She gave a strong yawn, letting her thoughts wonder. What a nice day. There were barely any clouds in the sky, only a few were up above, the sun rays kissing the edges of them.
"I wonder what everyone's doing?" Mau asked herself. This was such a nice day, but no one was out here with her. Mau sighed a heavy, down-hearted sigh. If only...

Slint, the wildcat starboard man of Adler Augen, was chasing after a thief who was in ostrich form. Slint yowled, "Get back here! I'm not going to let you run off with those potions you stole from the local pharmacy!" The ostrich thief had a brown bag full of expensive medical potions strapped around his neck so that he doesn't have to worry about them falling off his human shoulder.

Mau shot up. What was that? A thief? The Garras Do Gato Guerrilla hadn't seen any action all day! This was her chance! And who was that chasing the thief? It was Slint! Ranulf's animal form! Mau bunched her muscles up, getting ready to leap at the thief and to impress Slint.
In one fell swoop, Mau leaped and landed right on the thief's head, taking him down and ripping at his flesh with her claws. "Give them back!" Mau roared. "Those belong to the fire side!"

The thief was pinned down to the ground and was shrieking in pain when a cat ripped his flesh with her claws. Slint stopped running to see this female feline beating up the thief. "Wow, she got him, when I couldn't catch him!" he said to himself. The ostrich changed back into a brunette human and yelled in terror, "All right! All right! You can have them back! I won't steal anymore!" The thief ran away frightend. Slint smirk at the sight of the fleeing thief and went to the female cat and asked, "Thanks for stopping the thief. We needed those medicines to heal the sick. So what's your name?"

Mau grinned. "You don't remember me?" She asked playfully. "I'm Mau." With that, she regained her blackish-brown haired human form and swished her cat like tail. "You're Slint, aren't you? The one I said was cute?" Mau remembered when that "lover-girl", Amor, came to the place where she, Sheba, and Ranulf were. Then Verengi came, and those two had gotten into a fight. So, Mau had quietly slipped away through the undergrowth, as quickly as she hand came.
"Sorry I had to leave that one time. We didn't really get to know each other, did we?" Mau asked, sitting down.

When Mau said that Slint didn't remember her, the wildcat said, "I'm just joking, of course I remember you. You're the playful girl, Mau, right?" When Mau mentioned the time when they were at the waterfall, Slint mewed, "We didn't have much time then. So now that we're here, we might as well have some time to know each other. So Mau, how's your tribe doing?"

Mau laughed. "Yep, that's me!" She giggled as she returned to her cat form. "I loved being at that waterfall. It was so peaceful." She meowed in a dreamy manner. Mau paused as she heard Slint ask how her Tribe was doing. "How's my tribe doing?" Mau repeated dumbly. How was her Tribe doing? Mau herself hadn't been in her camp for a few days, but she did know that her Tribe was getting a few newer members, and one of their women were pregnant.
Mau sighed. She hoped she would find a Lover and raise a big family. "My Tribe's doing great!" Mau said, a bit overly-cheery. "One of our women are pregnant!"

Slint nodded his head and mewed, "Yeah, me too. I had really good fun there! Sheba beat me in two games, swimming race and hunting game." Then when he heard the good news about Mau's tribe, the brownish grey wildcat purred, "That's great! I sounds like your tribe's healthy and growwing in numbers!"
